Hong Kong stock market midday review: Hang Seng Index fell by 0.83%, Hang Seng Technology Index fell by 2.11%
Hong Kong stocks closed at midday, with the Hang Seng Index falling by 0.83% and the Hang Seng Tech Index dropping by 2.11%. The Hang Seng Stock Connect ETF, ChinaAMC, fell by 0.54%, while the Hang Seng Tech ETF, Harvest, declined by 1.11%. In terms of sectors, the metal and mining, as well as the container and packaging sectors, saw significant gains, while the automotive and leisure equipment and supplies sectors experienced notable declines. In terms of individual stocks, Lingbao Gold rose by 16.03%, Huqin Technology rose by 14.52%, Chifeng Gold rose by 14.48%, Lanqi Technology rose by 12.95%, and Wangshan Wangshui-B rose by 12.84%. On the other hand, MINIMAX-W fell by 8.0%, Xunxiao fell by 7.36%, Shengbang shares fell by 6.39%, Netease fell by 6.24%, and Tencent Holdings-R fell by 5.85%.
