Yemen declares resumption of oil exports.

On July 20th local time, the Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Committee, Rashad Mohammed Al-Rimi, announced that Yemen will resume oil exports from that day onwards, and that oil revenue will be used for paying salaries, improving public services, promoting economic stability, and ensuring that national resources benefit all people. In the statement, Al-Rimi stated that the government will take all necessary measures to restore oil exports and maintain economic stability. Additionally, Al-Rimi accused the Houthi armed forces of dragging Yemen into regional conflicts in the statement, and once again called on the Houthi armed forces to control the support of the local population for national construction. In October 2022, the Houthi armed forces launched continuous attacks on the oil export ports and related facilities in government-controlled areas in Yemen, leading to the interruption of Yemen's crude oil exports and severely impacting government finances.
