The newly appointed British Prime Minister, Burnham, has appointed several cabinet members.

On the 20th local time, the newly appointed UK Prime Minister Burnham appointed several cabinet members. Burnham appointed former Defense Secretary John Hilly as Chancellor of the Exchequer. Hilly had previously served as Defense Secretary in the Stammer government but resigned in June due to defense spending disputes. Burnham also appointed Ed Miliband as Foreign Secretary. Miliband had previously served as leader of the Labour Party from 2010 to 2015 and as Energy Secretary in the Stammer government. In addition, Louise Hague was appointed as Chief Secretary to the Treasury and Minister for the Duchy of Lancaster. Hague had served as Transport Secretary before resigning in November 2024 and is considered a key supporter of Burnham. The Stammer government's Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood will continue in her role. Burnham was appointed as the new Prime Minister by King Charles III on the 20th and was authorized to form a new cabinet.
