According to the daily trading disclosure data from Ark Investment Management: On July 17th, "Wood Sister" Cathie Wood's multiple Ark funds collectively sold 23,573 shares of AMD semiconductor at a closing price of $495.76 per share, resulting in a total value of approximately $11.7 million. In recent months, Wood has been consistently reducing her holdings in AMD, and the selling pace in July has not slowed down. Including this recent sale, Ark Investment has sold a total of 137,421 shares of AMD stock in July, with a market value of approximately $68.1 million at the latest closing price. Despite Wood's continued selling, AMD still remains the eighth largest holding in the Ark Innovation ETF. On July 22nd to 23rd, AMD will host a 2026 Artificial Intelligence Advancement Conference, where CEO Su Zifeng is expected to announce updates to the full AI product roadmap, including the MI450X accelerator, MI500 GPU series, and new generation server processors.
