Tianjin: GDP grew by 4.8% year-on-year in the first half of the year.

According to the unified calculation results of regional GDP, our city achieved a GDP of 9137.79 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 4.8% at constant prices. By industry, the value added of the primary industry increased by 8.487 billion yuan, an increase of 2.8%; the value added of the secondary industry increased by 2,887.27 billion yuan, an increase of 3.5%; and the value added of the tertiary industry increased by 6,165.65 billion yuan, an increase of 5.5%. In the first half of the year, the consumer price index rose by 0.9% year-on-year. In terms of categories, the prices of food, tobacco, alcohol, and dining out increased by 0.2%, clothing prices increased by 1.9%, housing prices decreased by 0.1%, household goods and services prices decreased by 0.1%, transportation and communication prices increased by 1.2%, education, culture, and entertainment prices increased by 1.9%, medical care prices decreased by 0.2%, and prices of other goods and services increased by 10.3%. In the first half of the year, the producer prices for industrial products rose by 0.4% year-on-year, and the purchase prices for industrial producers rose by 2.8%.
