According to Reuters, the "Trump Media and Technology Group," owned by former US President Donald Trump, recently launched a paid authorized data interface that will provide the fastest access to posts from top accounts on the "Truth Social" platform, including Trump's own account. The product, called "Truth Interface," officially launched on August 1st, and will transmit real-time updates from the platform's top 10 most influential accounts at a speed far beyond the platform's regular push notifications. A company spokesperson mentioned that this product is specifically designed for algorithm trading companies and other institutions most affected by information delay costs. Previously, institutions closely monitoring popular posts on "Truth Social" had to rely on manual monitoring. The move signifies Trump Media and Technology Group's official entry into the data authorization business, opening up a new revenue source for the company. Interim CEO Kevin McKeon stated, "Market trends are already heavily influenced by posts on 'Truth Social'... With the increasing popularity of the product, we expect 'Truth Interface' to become a continuous and significant source of revenue for the company." Trump Media Technology Group was founded by Trump in 2021 and is set to go public on the Nasdaq exchange in 2024. Trump has often used his "Truth Social" account to release major news, making the platform an essential source of information for traders, businesses, and financial institutions.
