The "Interim Measures for the Management of Artificial Intelligence Personalized Interactive Services" will be implemented starting on July 15th, putting a regulatory "tightening spell" on the AI companionship track. A recent survey by Securities Times reporters found that most AI toys targeting minors on the market have not yet met the requirements of the Measures. The introduction of the Measures brings "certainty dividends" to the AI companionship industry, with companies that have strong compliance capabilities, positive product forms, and deep cultivation in vertical fields expected to cultivate sustainable competitiveness first. However, the current Measures have issues such as overly broad anchor points, difficulty in determining prohibited items, and unclear responsibility subjects for specific matters. The industry looks forward to strengthening feasibility in practice and calls for the establishment of industry self-regulation norms and a multi-party collaborative risk management system to jointly help the AI companionship track to stabilize and develop.
