Hengrui Medicine: Subsidiary HRS9531 Injection obtains clinical trial approval.

Hengrui Medicine announced that its subsidiary, Fujian Shengdi Medicine, has received the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice issued by the National Medical Products Administration for HRS9531 injection, allowing for the commencement of Phase III clinical trials in adult patients with obesity combined with knee osteoarthritis. This drug is a new type of dual agonist targeting GIPR and GLP-1R, with global proprietary intellectual property rights, and there is currently no similar drug approved for marketing worldwide. As of now, the total research and development investment for the HRS9531 project is approximately 701 million yuan.
