State Administration for Market Regulation: Completed 298 antitrust reviews of concentrated business operators in the first half of 2026.

According to the Securities Times APP, on July 16th, the State Administration for Market Regulation announced that in the first half of 2026, a total of 298 cases of concentration of operators were concluded. Among them, 283 cases were unconditionally approved, 12 cases were withdrawn by the applicant after acceptance, 2 cases were conditionally approved with additional restrictive conditions, and 1 case was prohibited. In the first half of the year, investment was relatively active in the manufacturing industry, water, electricity, gas, heat production and supply, transportation, finance, real estate, and other areas.
