The former vice president of engineering for Qualcomm's autonomous driving department will join the NVIDIA autonomous driving team.

Nvidia's self-driving team recently released an internal memo stating that former Qualcomm self-driving engineering vice president Dheeraj Ahuja will join Wu Xinzhong's team, while former Nvidia self-driving software vice president Sarah Tariq, responsible for production projects, will enter a transition period. Today, Sarah Tariq also sent out a farewell letter. Dheeraj Ahuja and Wu Xinzhong have both worked at Qualcomm. Over the past seven years, Dheeraj has been in charge of Qualcomm's self-driving project. From the end of 2021 to 2022, Qualcomm successfully beat out Nvidia and Mobileye, winning the next generation ADAS and autonomous driving platform orders from BMW with Dheeraj being the direct engineering lead on the project.
