According to the news from the Wisdom Financial APP, the Secretary for Innovation and Technology in Hong Kong, Mr. Sun Dong, replied to a legislator's question, stating that in order to seize the opportunities brought by the rapid development of AI, the government has been actively deploying related digital infrastructure. Currently, Hong Kong's overall computing power has reached 50 trillion floating point operations per second (5000 PFLOPS), with Cyberport's artificial intelligence supercomputing center accounting for 60%. In addition, the construction of the Sha Ling Data Park, which is currently in progress, is expected to provide 180,000 PFLOPS of computing power by 2032, equivalent to 36 times the current computing power in Hong Kong, providing strong support for AI calculation needs including word processing.
