On Wednesday, the Seoul stock market returned to the 7000-point mark, with the risk appetite rebounding and foreign investment increasing. The Korean KOSPI index soared more than 8% at one point during the trading day. As of 2:30 pm local time, foreign investors had a net buying value of 2.4 trillion Korean won in stocks, which is more than twice the net buying value of nearly 1 trillion Korean won the previous day. Institutional investors had a net buying value of 180 billion Korean won, which was a slight slowdown compared to Tuesday. Retail investors were the only net sellers, selling stocks worth nearly 2.5 trillion Korean won.
