Wang Guanhua, spokesperson of the National Bureau of Statistics and head of the Department of National Economic Comprehensive Statistics, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on July 15 that for many years, the service industry has been the largest area of foreign investment inflows in China, and it has maintained a good development momentum this year. In the first five months, the service industry attracted foreign investment accounted for 72% of the total actual foreign investment used in the country, demonstrating the attractiveness of the service industry for foreign opening up.
