According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in the second quarter of 2026, the overall capacity utilization rate of large-scale industrial enterprises in the country was 73.0%, a decrease of 0.6 percentage points from the first quarter and 1.0 percentage points from the same period last year. Looking at the three major categories, in the second quarter of 2026, the capacity utilization rate of the mining industry was 69.1%, the manufacturing industry was 73.5%, and the electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply industry was 70.4%.
