Chongqing issues a red alert for high temperatures.

Chongqing Meteorological Observatory issued a "high temperature red warning signal" at 9:30 on July 15th. It is expected that from 11:00 to 22:00 on the 15th, the highest temperature in Yuzhong, Shapingba, Dadukou, Jiulongpo, Nanan, Liangjiang New Area, High-tech Zone, Beibei, Banan, Bishan, Jiangjin, Yunyang, Fengjie, Wuxi, Pengshui and other 15 districts and counties will rise to 40-42C; while Tongnan, Hechuan, Dazu, Tongliang, Rongchang, Yongchuan, Qijiang, Wansheng Economic Development Zone, Nanchuan, Changshou, Dianjiang, Fuling, Fengdu, Zhongxian, Liangping, Wanzhou, Kaizhou, Chengkou, Wushan, Wulong, Shizhu and other 21 districts and counties will rise to 37-40C.
