According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in June, the electricity generated by large-scale industrial enterprises reached 827.6 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 2.0% year-on-year; with a daily average of 275.9 billion kilowatt-hours. From January to June, the electricity generated by large-scale industrial enterprises reached 475.01 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 3.5% year-on-year. Breakdown by type, in June, the growth rate of thermal power and hydropower in large-scale industrial enterprises slowed down, while nuclear power and solar power generation accelerated, and wind power generation transitioned from growth to decline. Specifically, in June, the electricity generated by large-scale industrial thermal power increased by 0.5% year-on-year, a slowdown of 1.6 percentage points compared to May; hydropower generation increased by 4.8%, with a slowdown of 8.2 percentage points; nuclear power generation increased by 8.5%, with an acceleration of 3.5 percentage points; wind power generation in large-scale industrial enterprises decreased by 5.6%, compared to an increase of 0.5% in May; solar power generation in large-scale industrial enterprises increased by 14.2%, with an acceleration of 2.1 percentage points.
