Domestic First: State Grid Shanghai Power has completed the first large-scale measurement and call of electricity coordination using the "full mode" in China.

Recently, during the peak period of summer electricity demand in Shanghai, State Grid Shanghai Electric Power organized 16 data centers of enterprises such as Shanghai Telecom, Global Data, Shanghai Yidi, and Alibaba Group to carry out coordinated and centralized load shedding. Within two hours, the maximum load was reduced by 97,800 kilowatts. State Grid Shanghai Electric Power stated that this is the largest single instance of load shedding for computational power in a domestic city so far, and it is also the first time that flexible load shedding, backup power fuel switching, and cross-domain transfer of computing power have been unified in a single scheduling period for testing.
