The industrial zone of Salawat, a major petrochemical town in Russia, was attacked by drones.
The head of the administration of the Republic of Bashkortostan in Russia, Radiy Khabirov, stated that a "large-scale" drone attack on the Salavat Industrial Zone has been successfully repelled. Khabirov wrote on Telegram that after the drones were shot down, several smoking points were found at the scene. He said that emergency services have begun cleaning up and that the incident did not cause any casualties. Salavat is the location of the Salavat petrochemical complex owned by the Russian gas industry company. The facility includes oil refining, petrochemical and fertilizer production, and produces gasoline, diesel, and other products.
