China General Nuclear Power Corporation's (01811) new energy completed a generating capacity of 1,331.5 gigawatt-hours in June, a year-on-year decrease of 5.1%.
According to the Zhongguo Financial News APP, CGN New Energy Holdings (01811) announced that in June 2026, the company and its subsidiaries (the Group) completed a total electricity generation of 1331.5 GWh based on consolidated financial statements, which represents a decrease of 5.1% compared to the same period in 2025. Specifically, wind power projects in China decreased by 17.1%, solar power projects in China increased by 33.5%, gas projects in China increased by 6.3%, hydropower projects in China decreased by 10.5%, and projects in Korea decreased by 6.5%.
As of June 30, 2026, the Group has accumulated a total electricity generation of 9307.3 GWh for the first six months of the year, representing a decrease of 2.2% compared to the same period in 2025. In this period, wind power projects in China decreased by 17.9%, solar power projects in China increased by 35.3%, gas projects in China increased by 3.7%, hydropower projects in China increased by 12.3%, and projects in Korea increased by 12.8%.
