China's first province to ban the sale of gasoline cars confirmed: Hainan

Recently, the Hainan provincial government released the "15th Five-Year Plan for the Hainan National Ecological Civilization Pilot Zone" and proposed to gradually ban the sale of gasoline cars by 2030. It is estimated that by then, the proportion of new energy vehicles in Hainan will increase from 23.75% in 2025 to 45%. This means that Hainan will become the first province in China to no longer sell gasoline cars.
