Hunan Xiangtou Holdings Group Party Secretary and Chairman Deng Junmin has been expelled from the party.
The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the National Supervisory Commission reported on July 13 that, according to the Hunan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, recently, with the approval of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, the Hunan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision conducted a case investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Deng Junmin, former Party Secretary and Chairman of Hunan Xiangtou Holdings Group Co., Ltd.
After investigation, it was found that Deng Junmin, as a party member and leading cadre, had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and missions, colluded with others to destroy evidence, obstructed organizational inspection, and engaged in superstitious activities. He also violated the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulation, illegally accepted gifts, accepted banquets that may affect the impartial execution of official duties, concealed personal relevant information, improperly sought benefits for others in terms of job promotion, abused his power to seek benefits for relatives in business, interfered in and intervened in engineering project contracting, did not properly fulfill his duties, causing significant losses of state-owned assets, and used his position for personal gain, illegally accepting large sums of money. Deng Junmin seriously violated the party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and work discipline, constituted a serious violation of duty and suspected bribery crimes, and did not converge or stop after the 18th Party Congress, with serious nature and adverse impact, should be dealt with seriously.
In accordance with relevant provisions of the "Discipline Regulations of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Administrative Penalty Law for Public Servants of the People's Republic of China," and other related regulations, after the Hunan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision's Standing Committee meeting and reporting to the Provincial Party Committee for approval, it was decided to expel Deng Junmin from the party, revoke his retirement benefits according to regulations, confiscate his ill-gotten gains from violations of discipline and the law, and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution in accordance with the law, along with the related property.
