The National Marine Forecasting Center has issued storm surge orange and wave blue alerts for the northern waters of our country.

According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, the center of this year's 9th typhoon, "Bavi," was located in Sixian County, Suzhou City, Anhui Province at 8 o'clock this morning. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that "Bavi" will move in a north-northeast to northeast direction at a speed of 10-15 kilometers per hour, with its intensity slowly weakening. It is expected to move through the Shandong Peninsula and into the northern part of the Yellow Sea on the 14th, gradually transitioning into an extratropical cyclone after the 15th. In accordance with the "Marine Disaster Emergency Plan," the National Marine Forecasting Center issued a storm surge orange alert and a wave blue alert this morning.
