By 2029, the three-tier elderly care service network in urban and rural areas of our country will be basically completed.

The Ministry of Civil Affairs recently released the "Guidelines for the Construction and Management of Three-tier Elderly Care Service Networks in Urban and Rural Areas", which clearly states that by 2029, a three-tier elderly care service network covering urban and rural areas will be basically completed, focusing on the urgent needs of care for the disabled and dementia, while also taking into account the diverse elderly care service needs of the elderly, including the elderly with high age and special difficulties, integrating a local elderly care "service network" at the doorstep.
