China Petrochemical Corporation signs the design contract for Uzbekistan's first full industry chain sustainable aviation fuel project.

According to Sinopec News, during the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, Ningbo Engineering Company, a subsidiary of Sinopec Refining and Chemical Engineering Group, officially signed a front-end engineering design and detailed design contract with Uzbekistan Joint Bioenergy Company for the sustainable aviation fuel project in the country. This signing is a significant breakthrough for Sinopec's overseas low-carbon new energy business in the refining and chemical engineering sector. The project is the first large-scale full industrial chain biojet fuel complex in Central Asia, integrating biomass raw material processing, green hydrogen production, sustainable aviation fuel, electro-synthetic jet fuel, and green diesel production.
