The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held a work promotion meeting to enhance the quality of agricultural products. The meeting emphasized the need to firmly establish a safety bottom line, implement full-chain supervision requirements, and build a safety net for the quality of agricultural products; strengthen the guidance of standards, promote the upgrade of agricultural product quality standards; insist on making efforts in the front-end production, focus on product harvesting and shelf management, and promote the quality grading and classification of agricultural products; increase the supply of green, organic, specialty and geographical indication agricultural products, expand the total quantity, ensure quality, and create brands; carry out monitoring and evaluation of agricultural product quality, and improve the monitoring index system.
