China releases the world's first large-scale AI model for stratigraphy, creating a "shared database" for the Earth.

Today, reporters learned from the Fifth International Stratigraphy Conference being held in Suzhou that Chinese scientists have released the first stratigraphy AI model and intelligent global stratigraphic profile comparison system, among other new tools, to the world. This means that the 4.6 billion year evolutionary history of the Earth will now have a globally shared database for the first time.
