On June 30th, Tesla pushed FSDV14Lite to the HW3 model, initially expanding to early access program users in the coming weeks. When inquiring with Tesla China official website customer service about whether vehicles with HW3 hardware will support related autonomous driving function upgrades in the future, the customer service replied that currently Tesla's autonomous driving functions are only compatible with vehicles equipped with AI4 hardware (HW4). "Model S, Model X, 2020 to 2024 Model Y, and some current Model 3 models equipped with AI4 hardware have been opened for adaptation, while adaptation for current Model Y and Model YL has not yet been opened. Tesla is currently actively preparing for autonomous driving software in accordance with relevant regulations issued by the country in recent years," the customer service representative stated. This means that although overseas HW3 models have started receiving the FSDV14Lite update, it is unclear whether HW3 models in the Chinese market will be able to support related upgrades synchronously in the future.
