According to the financial app, "Zhtng Cijng", the Zhngzh Research Institute issued a paper stating that, based on the investigation data of the China Real Estate Index System's price index of new and second-hand residential sales markets in 100 cities nationwide, as well as the rental market in 50 cities, in June 2026, the volume of second-hand housing transactions in key cities continued to grow year-on-year. The price of second-hand housing in Shanghai continued to rise on a monthly basis, and the price in Shenzhen changed from a decrease to an increase. The core city markets maintained a trend of recovery. Due to the fact that prices in many cities are still adjusting, in June, the average price of second-hand residential housing in 100 cities was 12,639 yuan per square meter, a decrease of 0.42% compared to the previous month, with the decline expanding by 0.10 percentage points. Looking at the number of cities with price increases or decreases, 12 cities saw an increase month-on-month, while 88 cities saw a decrease. In the core cities, Shanghai saw a monthly increase of 0.10% and Shenzhen saw an increase of 0.03%.
