Taking apart packages is no longer "three layers inside and three layers outside." Mandatory national standards for excessive packaging of packages will be implemented.

Starting from July 1st, the first mandatory national standard in China for limiting excessive packaging in express delivery - "Requirements for Restricting Excessive Packaging in Express Delivery" will be officially implemented. The new national standard will use the adaptability of express packaging boxes, the number of layers in express packaging, and the amount of sealing tape used as key indicators, clearly defining the bottom line requirements for limiting excessive packaging in express delivery. In the past, the industry generally used a packing method of "putting small items in large boxes, using multiple layers of bubble wrap, and wrapping multiple circles of tape." The upcoming new regulation specifies that the number of layers in the packaging of non-fragile items in express delivery should not exceed 2 layers, and the number of layers in the packaging of fragile items in express delivery should not exceed 4 layers.
