Most of Wall Street expects the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates later this year, but there are still a few analysts who believe the opposite is true, firmly convinced that the next move in interest rate adjustments by the Federal Reserve will be a cut. According to the "Fed watch" tool from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), investors currently believe that there is a 77% probability of the Federal Reserve raising the benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points or more by the end of this year.
