Insiders: US defense company Anduril is in talks about using Nissan's factory in Japan to produce drones.

Three informed sources revealed that the American defense company Anduril Industries is in negotiations to acquire Nissan's Otobu assembly plant located near Tokyo. This independent weapons manufacturer plans to produce military drones in Japan. Although the sources stated that no decision has been made yet, any deal could potentially transform the Otobu plant, one of Japan's first large car factories after the war and a symbol of industrial revival in Japan, into a weapons manufacturing center.
