Compared to the same period last year, the import and export volume of Shenzhen in the first five months of this year continued to maintain the top spot among mainland Chinese cities, with a growth of 31.1%.

According to Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, Shenzhen Customs released statistics on June 22 showing that in the first five months of this year, Shenzhen's total import and export volume reached 2.32 trillion yuan, an increase of 31.1% compared to the same period last year, maintaining its position as the leading city in mainland China in terms of import and export volume. Out of this total, exports were 1.22 trillion yuan, an increase of 15.9%, while imports were 1.1 trillion yuan, an increase of 53.4%. So far this year, Shenzhen's foreign trade has maintained a good trend of steady progress.
