The first power transmission right transaction in our country has officially delivered power.

The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration recently announced that starting from June 1st, China will carry out market-based trading of transmission rights on the Yunxiao HVDC transmission line. The first transmission rights trade organized recently officially started electricity delivery today, which also means that Anhui's green energy, for the first time with a "pass", crossed two major power grids, injecting green energy into the production of enterprises in Guangdong. How did Guangdong's electricity consumers obtain this pass? During the specified bidding time, they simultaneously reported the transmission price they were willing to pay and the transmission capacity they needed. The trading system sorts the bids from high to low, giving priority to the businesses that offer higher prices. In the first transaction, 113 power market entities from Anhui and Guangdong participated, with a trading volume exceeding 20 million kilowatt-hours. Enterprises that win transmission rights also secure green energy transactions across power grid operating zones, achieving efficient matching of "electricity available for delivery, and roads available for travel".
