After the United States issued a control order, early users of Anthropic Mythos can still use it normally.
Despite the US government's imposition of related regulations, causing the suspension of other versions of the model, a group of early companies selected by Anthropic and participated in testing the Mythos artificial intelligence model before its official launch can still use the preview version of the system. Several sources revealed that many banks and technology companies are using the Mythos preview version through the "Glass Wing Program." This program brings together about 200 institutions, all authorized by Anthropic, to use this model to detect network security vulnerabilities. Dragos Inc.'s Chief Technology Officer Jon Lavender confirmed that his company has permission to use it, and Cisco Systems also confirmed that they retain access rights. During the testing process, the Mythos preview version showed strong performance: it can identify thousands of security vulnerabilities, covering all mainstream operating systems and web browsers. As a result, in April, Anthropic restricted the preview version to be open only to "Glass Wing Program" cooperative organizations. The startup eventually launched the Mythos derivative version Fable5 to the public, which is officially restricted from performing network security-related testing tasks.
