Ministry of Commerce: Information on the Implementation of Beef Security Measures in 2026

Under the beef safeguard measures, beef imported from Australia reached 100% of the specified quantity as of June 18, 2026, as clearly stated in the Ministry of Commerce's Announcement No. 87 of 2025. According to Ministry of Commerce Announcement No. 87 of 2025, starting from the third day when the imported beef from Australia reaches 100% of the specified quantity, an additional 55% tariff will be imposed on the imported beef from that country on top of the current applicable tariff rates.
