The Slovak National Council passed a vote of confidence in the Fico government.
On June 18th local time, the Slovak National Council passed a vote of confidence in the Fico government. Prior to this, the Constitutional Court had requested the government to fulfill its legal obligations as soon as possible, and the ruling coalition ultimately helped the government to secure parliamentary trust with 78 votes in favor. The Slovak National Council held a special meeting on the government's vote of confidence on the 18th. After a full day of debate and voting, the government led by Prime Minister Robert Fico received support from 78 members of parliament and successfully passed the vote of confidence.
