Urumqi launches phased housing subsidy policy, with a one-time subsidy of 8000 yuan for new houses.

On June 18th, it was learned from the Urumqi Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Bureau that the purchase subsidy adheres to the principles of fairness and inclusiveness, precise policies, convenience and efficiency, and openness and transparency. The subsidy is for individuals who purchase houses within the administrative area of Urumqi. Buyers of newly built commercial housing with a "Commercial Housing Pre-sale Permit" or "Commercial Housing Sale Record Certificate" can apply for the subsidy by signing a purchase contract and completing the online registration within the specified time. The policy clearly defines the scope of subsidy, excluding second-hand housing, various types of affordable housing, apartments, shops, office buildings, parking spaces, and other non-residential properties from enjoying the subsidy. The subsidy standard is a one-time subsidy of 8000 yuan for each new house, with only one subsidy allowed per property. This policy will be implemented from June 17, 2026 to June 30th.
