Shang Tang partners with Hong Kong Science Park to build a 40,000P domestic computing power infrastructure to create the largest domestic smart computing center in Hong Kong.
Today, it was learned from SenseTime that the company will work together in Hong Kong to promote the construction of domestic AI computing infrastructure. The goal is to achieve a computing power scale of over 40,000P by 2030, establishing the largest domestic intelligent computing center in Hong Kong. The project will serve as the core AI infrastructure to support the era of large models, providing high-performance computing power for various industries, accelerating the development of the AI industry in Hong Kong, and further enhancing Hong Kong's competitiveness in global innovation and AI development. The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation has recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with SenseTime to initiate strategic cooperation in AI computing infrastructure construction and AI industry ecology. The project will be implemented in stages, with the first phase expected to be completed within this year, aiming to establish an intelligent computing center with a computing power scale of 40,000P by 2030. The center will be equipped with a diverse range of domestic GPU clusters to provide efficient and stable computing power support for enterprises in various scenarios such as model training, inference, and large-scale application deployment.
