The Water Resources Department of Guangdong Province issued a flash flood risk warning at 9:00 on June 17th: According to the analysis of meteorological rainfall forecasts, it is expected that in the next 24 hours, there is a high possibility of flash floods occurring in Maoming Gaozhou City, Huazhou City, Xinyi City, Yangjiang Yangdong District, Zhanjiang Lianjiang City. Additionally, there is a relatively high possibility of flash floods occurring in Zhaoqing Gaoyao District, Huaiji County, Huizhou Boluo County, Longmen County, Yunfu Yuncheng District, Yun'an District, Xinxing County, and Luoding City, Shanwei Lufeng City, Jiangmen Taishan City, Kaiping City, Heshan City, Enping City, Guangzhou Zengcheng District, Zhanjiang Suixi County, Qingyuan Fogang County, Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous County, Maoming Dianbai District, Yangjiang Yangchun City, Foshan Gaoming District. Other areas may also experience flash floods due to short and intense local rainfall.
