The latest annual report released by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, a subsidiary of the University of Oxford in the UK, on the 16th, stated that when it comes to accessing information, global news audiences are now more inclined to use social media and video platforms rather than traditional media. The annual report tracks trends in the media industry, and this year's research findings are based on an online survey conducted earlier this year by the public opinion research company in 48 countries and regions, involving nearly 100,000 people.
