The China National Aviation Corporation (00753.HK) announced in May 2026 that the company and its subsidiaries (group) saw a decrease in both passenger capacity (measured in available seat kilometers) and passenger traffic volume (measured in revenue passenger kilometers) compared to the same period last year. Passenger capacity decreased by 6.4% year-on-year, while passenger traffic volume dropped by 2.7% year-on-year. Specifically, domestic passenger capacity decreased by 9.4% year-on-year, and passenger traffic volume decreased by 7.5% year-on-year; international passenger capacity increased by 1.2% year-on-year, and passenger traffic volume increased by 9.8% year-on-year; regional passenger capacity decreased by 13.6% year-on-year, and passenger traffic volume decreased by 4.2% year-on-year. The average passenger load factor was 84.5%, an increase of 3.2 percentage points compared to the same period last year. Domestic routes saw an increase of 1.8 percentage points in the passenger load factor, international routes saw an increase of 6.4 percentage points, and regional routes saw an increase of 7.8 percentage points.
