Israeli Finance Minister Signs Agreement for Expansion of Jewish Settlements in the West Bank

On the 14th local time, Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich signed a framework agreement totaling 2 billion new shekels for the construction of 6,000 new apartments in an Israeli Jewish settlement on the West Bank of the Jordan River and additional infrastructure investments. Last December, the Israeli cabinet approved a proposal to build 19 new Jewish settlements on the West Bank of the Jordan River, which was condemned by many countries.
