On June 12, the Office of the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters organized a special meeting of the inter-agency mechanism for extreme weather warning and emergency response coordination, with the participation of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the General Administration of Press and Publication, the General Administration of Sports, and the China Meteorological Administration, to further enhance the ability to prevent and respond to extreme weather disasters.
