It will basically realize the "one code throughout" for the entire lifecycle of residential building design, construction, acceptance, transactions, operation, maintenance, and renovation, and promote the widespread application of unified building codes in urban renewal, community governance, and public services. The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Bureau of Statistics recently issued a notice on the comprehensive establishment of a unified code system for residential buildings, requiring the establishment and implementation of a unified code system for residential buildings, giving unique identity marks to residential buildings, promoting the digital management of the entire lifecycle of residential buildings, and continuously improving the level of smart and refined urban governance.
