Sichuan busted the selling of students' information case: more than 900,000 pieces of information sealed, involving directors of college admissions office.

On the 12th, it was learned from the Emeishan City Public Security Bureau in Sichuan that the bureau successfully cracked a major case of infringing on the personal information of citizens across 17 cities and prefectures in the province. They cooperated with police forces in Deyang, Meishan, Chengdu, and other places to dismantle a four-level black industry network, including "college high-level staff - campus administrators - middlemen - off-campus enrollment teams". They arrested 5 suspects and seized more than 900,000 pieces of personal information of students involved in the case.
