On June 11th, the 2025 shareholders' meeting of Guizhou Maotai Distillery Co., Ltd. was held. Chen Hua, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Maotai Group, said, "In terms of industrial planning, the 1.98 million tons of production capacity added by the 'Fourteenth Five-Year Plan' technological transformation project of Maotai liquor has now completed the construction and production of two workshops, and the rest of the projects are progressing in an orderly manner, and will be completed as soon as possible." Chen Hua also stated, "Regarding the production work, we will comprehensively consider the ecological carrying capacity of the 15.03 square kilometer core production area and factors such as craftsmanship training. In principle, as long as the conditions are met, we will produce as much base wine as possible. During the industry's downturn, we will store this base wine in inventory to further enhance the company's base wine resources and product quality."
