In 2025, the transaction volume of data products and services in China's enterprises increased by 39.8% year-on-year.

The National Bureau of Statistics held a press conference, and officials at the conference introduced that the "Data Element X" three-year action plan has achieved phased results, with the number and transaction volume of China's enterprise data products and services experiencing double-digit growth. It was introduced that the "Data Element X" three-year action plan is the first policy document jointly launched by the National Bureau of Statistics and relevant departments since its establishment, aiming to promote the widespread application of data elements in various industries and fields. The officials stated that the action plan will be concluded this year. Since the implementation of the document, the understanding of the importance of data elements in the whole society has been continuously increasing, and the value of data elements has been quickly released. The latest data shows that by 2025, the total active data volume in the country will reach 1.67 zettabytes, an increase of 28.46% compared to the previous year; the number of enterprise data products and services will increase by 29.29% compared to the previous year, and the transaction volume will increase by 39.8% compared to the previous year. Lu Feng, the spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics and Deputy Director of the Policy and Planning Department, introduced that they have released a total of 417 typical cases and 760 "Data Element X" typical scene guides in 11 industry sectors, surpassing the target of creating more than 300 scenes ahead of time.
