NVIDIA CEO says employees should receive "as high a salary as possible"

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said on Tuesday that he will pay employees the highest salary possible. Huang made the statement in response to questions about NVIDIA's partnership with Samsung Electronics and their recently reached compensation agreement, which will provide chip engineers with bonuses of up to $400,000. "I will do my best to pay employees the highest salaries," Huang said. "I do this, but that doesn't mean this approach is right." Huang also refuted the idea that artificial intelligence may threaten jobs, calling it "nonsense," and stating that AI will instead drive income, profits, and GDP growth.
