According to the Health Care Security Bureau of Hohhot City, in response to the issue of Inner Mongolia Jingyuanda Pharmacy Co., Ltd. selling the centrally-purchased drug Malic Acid Afoxolamip prenelipin at a high price, the Health Care Security Bureau of Hohhot City attaches great importance and, together with the Market Supervision Bureau, has formed a special task force to conduct a joint inspection on site at the first opportunity. The health care department interviewed the main person in charge of the pharmacy involved, and the market supervision department has initiated an administrative case. Next, the health care department will work together with the market supervision department to thoroughly analyze the problem, carry out special inspections, investigate the implementation of prices for new centrally-purchased drugs, drug procurement and inventory management, and strictly deal with designated pharmacies that do not comply with policies in accordance with the law. It will ensure full rectification, record scores for persons responsible, further strengthen the standardized operation of designated pharmacies in the city, and fully guarantee the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. The health care department will continue to deepen the special rectification action for the supervision of health care funds, focusing on issues such as the abuse of health care funds, fraud, and other illegal activities.
