According to CINNO Research, in the first quarter of 2026, the global electronic paper industry showed a differentiated trend. The electronic paper tablet market experienced a significant decline due to the dual impact of memory price increases and shortages, with overall shipments decreasing by approximately 26% year-on-year. Among them, electronic paper readers were most severely affected, while the office market remained relatively stable. In sharp contrast, the smart retail market continued to grow, with a year-on-year increase of 18% driven by terminal demand.
